The Cutaway Collar with Hidden Button

More and more corporates in Sydney are heading towards Business Casual as a mainstay  Monday to Friday - i.e. Neck Ties being completely optional.  Whilst this is great especially in the warmer Sydney Summers, the challenge is maintaining a professional and respectable business dress code whilst appreciating the more relaxed style.  

The risk is that without a neck tie the collar can collapse during the day if the interlining inside the collar is not of a good quality and the collar can fray to the side rather than standing tall. 

One great option to counter this is using a Cutaway Collar. The Cutaway is a great non tie collar due to its cut back style allowing the top of the collar to stand forward and proud. European interlining are best that allow shape in the collar without being stiff or uncomfortable. 

As an additional option is the Hidden Button. Similar to a button down shirt the Hidden Button is placed discretely underneath the collar. Barely visible when worn it allows the collar to stand straight and high, without the wearer having to worry about its position.
